Steve North has been the husband of Lyn North for 28 years, and to Steven, Jennifer and Lauren it seems like he's been their father their whole lives. He has served in ministry since 1977, having been allowed to participate in what God is doing in the world in various ways and places. After serving as a Senior Pastor in southern Ohio for a number of years, the North family moved to Toledo, OH, in 2006, where Steve is working with others to plant LifeLine. Currently, Steve is serving as a pastor to many poets and other artists, homeless and near-homeless people, and folks at various stages of religious skepticism, spiritualism and genuine faith.

Steve loves the Church, and believes in its extraordinary redemptive potential in the world. His greatest passion in ministry is to help people both experience and practice relationship with Jesus Christ in Gospel-with-skin-on kinds of ways, and to help the Church return to its biblical missional mandate.

Steve has a B.S. in Organizational Communication and an M.Div. from Ashland Theological Seminary. He's a lifelong Detroit and U-M sports fan, and still thinks the late 60s and early 70s had the best music ever.
